How to Care For Siamese Cats

Siamese cats are extremely loyal, intelligent, and gentle cats despite their negative reputation in the movie Lady and the Tramp. There are many things you can do you insure that your Siamese cat stays happy and healthy!

• Siamese cat
• Healthy cat food
• cool, clean water
• Cat brush
• Cat toys
• Litter and litter box

1. Like any pet, Siamese cats need to have access to clean, cool water and food. Pick a dry food or can food that is nutritional and made for your cats particular needs. If your cat is a kitten pick a kitten food. Or if your cat is elderly pick a food for cats who are in their later years.

2. Siamese cats thrive on human interaction. Siamese cats do not make good pets for people who are rarely home. Make time to play with your cat. Get catnip and cat toys. They will love it!

3. Get a microchip in your cat so if he or she accidentally gets lost you can find them.

4. Clean your cats litter box regularly. Use a good cat litter like Arm and Hammer to keep things smelling fresh.

5. Find a good veterinarian for your cat and know where the nearest emergency pet hospital is in case your cat gets sick after hours.
