These are cute and fun to make!

All children like to make fun arts and crafts for Halloween. This Halloween you can make something fun with your children that is low in cost and great to hand out to their friends or little trick-or-treaters!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Bag of Tootsie Roll Tootsie Pops
  • Box of white tissues/Kleenex
  • Ball of white yarn or white twine
  • Black marker (I use a Sharpie brand marker)
  1. Step 1
    Tootsie Pops!
    Tootsie Pops!

Count out the number of Ghost Pops that you would like to make, then count out 1-2 tissues for each ghost pop. If you are using thicker tissues, then you may only need to use one. You just don't want the Tootsie Pop wrapper to show through the tissues!

  2. Step 2

Next up, measure and cut out your yarn or twine in strips approximately 5 to 6 inches in length. You want to make sure you can tie them in a bow for a nice finishing touch.

  3. Step 3

Take your tissues and cover each pop and tie around the bottom of the round pop to make it look like a ghost head. You can fluff out the ends of the tissue if you would like to make it look tattered like a ghost.

  4. Step 4

Finally, take your marker and make ghost faces on each one of the Ghost Pops. Kids can get creative and make whatever kind of funny or spooky faces that they desire!

Tips & Warnings
  • Feeling creative? Try different colored markers or even different colored tissue and yarn.
  • For display, you can tie them from an indoor or outdoor tree or even place in a bucket or cauldron!
