How to Clear a Drain of Hair and Grease Naturally
Keeping bathroom and kitchen drains clear of grease and hair is an important step in ensuring the overall health of a plumbing system. Strong-smelling, expensive, store-bought solutions work well, but aren't necessary on a weekly basis. Boil about 4 cups of water in a kettle. Set aside when it begins to whistle.

Pour equal parts of vinegar and baking soda into the drain (start with about a half cup of each and increase it from there if necessary). Let the solution fizz up for about 10 seconds.

Pour the very hot water from the kettle into the drain, flushing down the vinegar and baking soda mixture.

Repeat this process about once a week. Increase the amount of vinegar and baking soda and the regularity of the procedure if necessary in high-traffic areas.
