How to Defog a Bathroom Mirror
Tired of the bathroom mirror fogging up while the shower is in use? Misty mirrors can be a real pain when it comes to getting ready for work or school in the morning. Simply wiping them with a towel rarely works. However, a quick blast of the hair dryer clears steam instantly, and a mixture of liquid dish soap and water keeps that fog from returning. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Hair dryer
- Clean, empty spray bottle
- 2 tbsp. liquid dish soap
- 3 cups water
- Soft, clean rag

Set the hair dryer on hot and blast the foggy mirror with the hot air until it clears.

Pour 3 tbsp. liquid dish soap and 3 cups water into a clean, empty spray bottle. Twist on the spray nozzle and give it a gentle shake to combine.

Spritz the soap solution onto the mirror, being sure to cover every inch.

Wipe the mirror clean with a soft, dry rag. Store the soap solution under the bathroom sink and repeat the treatment as necessary.

Tips & Warnings
If the soap solution leaves streaks on the mirror, add another cup of warm water to the mixture and re-treat the area.

Thanks for the tips. I always hate how my mirror gets fogged and wiping it off with paper towels just smears the moisture.
