How to Make a Movie Theme Gift Basket

A big bag of fresh popped popcorn, candy and a cold soda, and getting lost in a great movie on the big screen. There's nothing better than heading to the movie theater, except maybe chilling out in your own home with snacks and a great movie. If you've got a movie buff on your Christmas list create a great holiday movie gift basket. Add their favorite snacks, movies and toss in a couple gift cards to their local movie theater to boot.

Things You'll Need

• Popcorn bucket or bowl
• 2-3 DVDs
• Various boxed candies
• 2 microwave popcorn packages
• Gift cards to a local movie theater or movie rental store
• Tissue paper
• Bow
• Gift tag

Instructions

1. Crumple up several sheets of tissue paper and place in the bottom of the popcorn bucket or bowl. Lay a sheet of tissue paper over the crumpled paper.

2. Arrange your movie items in the popcorn bucket or bowl. Put in the boxed candies towards the back. Place the DVDs towards the front. Fill in with the popcorn. If using gift cards, place a small bow on them and put near the front of the basket. Arrange your basket as you desire. Use items that you know the gift recepient will enjoy.

3. Add a gift tag to the front of the popcorn basket or bowl. Tie a large ribbon around it if desired. You can also put cellophane wrap up over the basket if you wish.
