How to Install and Use Comodo Pro Firewall
Although a great antivirus program is essential for any modern computer, having a good firewall is just as important. And with yearly firewall iterations costing up to $200 a pop, protecting your computer has never been more expensive. Luckily, there is a freeware option for people who don't want to spend the extra money on the premium firewalls that is actually pretty good.

Go to the Comodo website (follow the link in Resources) and click on the "Free Products" tab at the top of the page. Select the "Free tools" menu.

Find Comodo Pro Firewall on the next page and click on the "Download" link. You will be redirected to another download site. Click on the big, gray download button and save the file to your desktop.

Double-click on the installer on the desktop to run it. You will have to click through a few dialog boxes and accept the terms of service. Once the installer has finished, restart your computer.

Run the Comodo Malware scanner after your computer reboots. It should boot up automatically, and will take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the size of your hard drive.

Customize firewall settings. As you use the Internet over the next few days, you will automatically be asked to set permissions for certain programs.
