Instructions

    • 1

Prepare your skin. To keep your skin smooth and blemish free, cleanse your skin prior to applying makeup. Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and towel dry gently. Follow up with a toner and your favorite moisturizer. Allow your skin at least 10 minutes to absorb the moisturizer before proceeding to the next step.

    • 2

Create smooth skin. Once your moisturizer has absorbed into your skin, apply your foundation. Dot foundation onto your nose, cheeks and forehead. Blend the foundation into your skin using a damp sponge, your fingers or a foundation brush. If you have areas which need extra coverage, use concealer to cover up any imperfections and blemishes. Once your foundation is complete, apply face powder to set it.

    • 3

Subtly define your eyes. Grace Kelly used neutral eye shadows and brown eyeliners to subtly line her eyes. Apply a natural looking light beige eye shadow as a wash over your eyelids. Use a shade that is two shades darker then the wash to contour your eyes. Once your eye shadow is complete, line your eyes with brown eyeliner. Once you’ve finished applying the eyeliner, curl your eyelashes. Follow up with one to two coats of your favorite mascara.

    • 4

Add a pop of color. Since Grace Kelly had fair skin, she would often apply blush to give her skin a soft pop of color. Choose a pink blush that flatters your skin tone. Look in the mirror and smile. Apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. If necessary, use face powder to blend the color into your skin.

    • 5

Create the lips. Grace Kelly often used bold reds and peaches to create her lips. Line your lips with lip liner and fill them in with your favorite peach or red lipstick. Once you’ve applied your lipstick, make sure to check your teeth to make sure the lipstick didn’t migrate.

Tips & Warnings

  • Use a loose powder to set your foundation. This will give your skin an airbrushed look.

  • Don’t forget to check your teeth in the mirror. Bold lipsticks have the tendency to migrate to your teeth and it’s a lot less embarrassing to catch the migration before going out into public.
