I just want to say as a person who has actually started a board brand that this is not at all how to do this. If you haven't tested your skateboard quality then you haven't even gotten started. It took me over 4 weeks just calling companies buying sample and deciding on a manufacturer. You should concentrate on 1 product also. Making boards, wheels, bearings, trucks, and grip would be so stupid, you would all your operating capital on products that haven't even really been marketed yet. If you don't skate you definately need someone who does and does really well or else you are dead in the water. Most of your business will come from sales the sponsored riders give you. My website hasn't sold 1 board in a year but I am ordering my 3rd batch of 90 boards and my third shirt design. stuff doesn't sell online till people trust you. Better off working off referalls and riders.
