Short Hair

Start with wet hair. Make sure to dry hair as much as you can with a towel.

Spread a small amount of mousse, gel or pomade into your hair. Make sure the roots and ends are covered.

Run your fingers or a comb through your hair and style. Let air-dry and your hair style will hold shape. If you have coarse or curly hair, make sure you use a super hold version of gel, mousse or pomade.
Long to Medium Hair

Start with wet or damp hair. Make sure you have tamped out the majority of the moisture with a dry towel.

Rub in gel, mousse or pomade into the roots and ends of your hair. Comb your hair with a brush or comb. Use a spray detangler if your hair is coarse or very long.

Tie your hair back in a low pony tail. Make sure you brush out all the kinks and bumps. Your hair will set in a smooth, modern pony tail that will dry out to be styled.

Pick out a barrette if a pony tail is not your style. With wet hair, pull back both side of your hair and secure with a barrette in the back.
