Step 1
Monitor your business finances with Quicken Home and Business software. Set up your individual clients, expenses, and profits by adding them to the application. This can be done by clicking the “Tools” link in the top menu section of the page. From the drop down list, you’ll have access to several more options.

Click the "Accounts" link in the "Tools" menu to add the financial institutions that hold the money for your business accounts. In this area, you can also add your expense accounts to Quicken Home and Business. Select the "Add Account" link at the top of the "Account List" window. You'll be prompted to add some financial information to keep your records updated. With each purchase, you can keep track of your spending habits and incoming payments.

Visit the Mint homepage to create a free account. After registering for a new account, sign into it to begin. Click the "Sign Up" link located on the page to begin the process. Enter some basic details such as your email address, ZIP code, and password. Press the "Okay" button to begin setting up your financial information in Mint. Enter your checking account information by clicking the "Add a Checking Account" link to the left of the page. The next page you're directed to a list of popular financial institutions.

Step 4
Add your other accounts into the Mint software application by clicking one of the several links on the side of the page. After finishing these steps, you can also choose to have periodic emails or text alerts sent to you. These alerts will help to keep you updated about any changes in your financial accounts. With a high speed Internet connection, your accounts will be updated each night.

Step 5
View the latest financial changes in your Mint account by clicking the "Overview" tab located at the top of the page. It will allow you to take a quick glance at your financial state. If you'd like a more detailed view of what is happening in your account, then click one of the available tabs on the page. Each tab will let you view specific transactions, investments, tips on saving money, and the way your money has been spent.
