How to Have a Hugh Grant Movie Marathon

Born in September of 1960, British actor Hugh Grant is known for his charming accent, boyish good looks and floppy hair. His breakout role came in 1994 in "Four Weddings and a Funeral," and he has been a familiar face in many romantic comedies since then. 1. Watch the 1994 romantic comedy "Four Weddings and a Funeral." Hugh plays Charles, a man who thinks he has found his "Miss Right" in Carrie (Andie McDowell). The story revolves around Charles and his friends attending (you guessed it) four weddings and one funeral. Hugh won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture--Comedy/Musical in 1995 for his portrayal of Charles.

2. Watch the 1995 romantic comedy "Nine Months." Hugh stars as commitment-phobic Samuel, who finds out his longtime girlfriend (played by Julianne Moore) is pregnant. Samuel struggles to deal with the fact that his lifestyle is about to change very drastically with the pending arrival of this baby. Co-stars include Tom Arnold, Joan Cusack, Jeff Goldblum and Robin Williams.

3. Watch the 1999 romantic comedy "Notting Hill." Hugh stars as William Thacker, a small-town British book seller who falls in love with famous movie star Anna Scott (played by Julia Roberts). The couple must learn to overcome the obstacles of both Anna's fame and her actor boyfriend to make their relationship work.

4. Watch the 1999 romantic comedy "Mickey Blue Eyes." Hugh stars as English auctioneer Michael Felgate, who is engaged to the daughter of a major mafia member. He soon realizes that certain "favors" could be asked of him by becoming a part of this family. Jeanne Tripplehorn and James Caan co-star.

5. Watch the 2001 romantic comedy "Bridget Jones's Diary," and the 2004 sequel "Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason." Renee Zellweger stars as Bridget Jones, a British woman determined to improve herself while looking for love. 6. Watch the 2002 comedy-drama "About a Boy." This film was nominated for the Best Writing, Adapted Screenplay Oscar in 2003. Hugh stars as Will, a cynical immature rich man who is taught how grow up by a little boy named Marcus who has had his share of troubles. Toni Collette co-stars.

7. Watch the 2003 comedy-drama "Love Actually." This movie follows the lives of eight very different couples in London, England that are all loosely related. Hugh co-stars as the Prime Minister who finds he has an emotional attachment to one of the women working for him. Co-stars include Bill Nighy, Colin Firth, Keira Knightley, Liam Neeson and Emma Thompson.

8. Watch the 2007 romantic comedy "Music and Lyrics." Hugh stars as Alex Fletcher, a washed up singer who is given only a couple of days to compose a number-one song for an aspiring teen music sensation. He find that Sophie Fisher (played by Drew Barrymore), the girl who waters his plants, is just the person to help him out with this task.
