   Become a member and download Second Life to your computers hard drive. You can choose a free basic membership. To be able to purchase land in Second Life, you will need to have a premium account for $9.95 a month.

   Click on the “Edit” tab on the tool bar and click on your “Profile.” In the “About” section, enter your Second Life first and last name use the “star key” on your keyboard to help center your name. Next, enter your Second Life address, which is the location that you rent or own a residence in Second Life. If you do not own or rent a resident in Second Life, use an email address or a community networking email address.
