Instructions

    • 1

Begin by drawing the basic frame for your "South Park" characters. Start with a circle for the head. Underneath this add a rectangular shape that is wider at the bottom for the body. Attach triangular shapes on the side of the body for arms. Draw two rectangular shapes under the body for legs.

    • 2

Draw the feet with a line extending under the legs. Add hands with a circle. On top of this add another circle for the thumbs. Inside the head, simply draw two ovals for eyes.

    • 3

Create the facial details. Add a small circle or dot in the center of each eye for pupils. Draw a line across the eyes if the character is female. This will be her eyelid. Add two lines off the side of the eye for eye lashes.

    • 4

Draw a simple bent line for the mouth. Alternately, a mouth can be drawn with an upside down triangle shape. Teeth can be shown by drawing small boxes at the top of the mouth.

    • 5

Create the hair for the "South Park" characters. There are several ways you can create hair for these characters. You can draw shaggy hair with jagged lines around the character's head. A short hair cut can be drawing with three slightly curved lines inside the characters head like the second boy down in the picture.

    • 6

Create female hair with larger shapes. Add a mushroom shape around the head and wavy lines down the side of the head. Create bangs with curved lines inside the head.

    • 7

Draw in the clothing details. Add collars with triangular shapes near on the bottom of the head. A tie can be added with a pentagon shape inside the collar and a long pentagon shape attached to it. Flesh out the feet by drawing curved lines on top of each foot line.

Erase all the guidelines. Darken in the feet and clean up any lines that were erased accidentally. Now you have all the tools you need to create your very own original "South Park" characters. You can create caricatures of your friends, classmates and even teachers. You can pass them out or make up comic strips or animations based on your new original "South Park" characters.
