Advertising on MSN is a cost per click (CPC) method of advertising. You only pay when someone clicks on one of your advertisements. Place ads all over MSN.com. Set up your advertising account with MSN. Click on “Get Started Now.”

Fill in your billing information. Click the "Submit" button. The setup fee is five dollars.

Log in to your account. Click the “Get Started Now” button.

Click the campaigns tab. Click the “Create Campaign” button.

Type a new name in the campaign name text box. Make your campaign name something general, like “Books.”

Type something to the effect of “First Campaign” in the name box.

Type a name in the order name text box. Your order name should be specific to what you are advertising, such as “Cookbooks.”

Click on “Select Countries/Regions.”

Select "All days of the week" and "All times of the day" check boxes. Click on "Continue."

Click on the page you wish to advertise on. Click on "How to Advertise this Page." Write your own ad based on the supplied examples.

Ad your keywords after writing your advertisement copy. Use keywords that are relevant to your ad and the page you will be advertising on.

Go to the tools section in the MSN data center. Download the “Adword Keyword” template.

Import keywords to your ad campaign. Click on “Import or Export Keywords” in the Adword template.

Click on the “Browse” button, and click on the “Import” button.
Finalize and upload your advertisements

Go to your campaign page on MSN. Click the "Submit" button after the keywords have been uploaded. After your keywords are accepted, you may adjust your budget.

Select "Spend Budget until Depleted" at the bottom of the campaign page. This will advertise your content as often as possible, until your money is out. You can also select “Divide budget across the month” to reduce the cost to your account.

Adjust your Base Bids lower than $0.20 until you are more experienced in online advertising.

Click on the “Save” button to complete the advertising process.
