How to Take a Picture on the LG Dare

The LG Dare VX9700 makes it easy to take a picture when and where ever you want. With its 3.2 Mega Pixels, the LG Dare can take clear photos that appear to have been taken with a regular digital camera. LG makes it easy to navigate through their menus and also gives you the opportunity to adjust the camera before the picture is taken. The camera has an auto focus, zoom in and out feature as well as a self timer to set the phone on its side and have the owner of the phone in the photo if there is no one to take it.

1. Press a finger tip down on the arrow in the upper right corner of the touch screen. A picture menu will appear with "Mobile Email" at the top.

2. Go down to the third row and second column of the picture menu and press down the icon that says "My Pictures." A new screen will appear with buttons "Camera" and "Play" at the bottom of the screen.

3. Click on the "Camera" button and the phone will instantly go into camera mode. Turn the phone horizontally to take a picture in a widescreen angle or keep it vertical for a vertical angle. Tap on the screen and icons will appear on the frame of the screen. Use the icons to adjust various settings such as flash, zoom, contrast, self timer, auto focus and others.

4. If the phone is horizontal, look for the "camera" button that is on the top far right corner of the phone. If the phone is vertical this button will be on the bottom right side of the phone.

5. Aim the camera at the desired subject and push the "camera" button to take the picture. After the picture is taken a frame will appear on the touch screen with various icons to choose from. Click on the icon on the right side of the screen that has a diskette to save the picture. To discard the picture and take another one, click on the icon that is a picture of a trash can.

• To get to the camera even faster simply click on the "camera" button (on the bottom right side of the phone if it is in a vertical position or top right if it is in a horizontal position) when the main menu is on the touch screen.
