Dull, ashy and dry skin is not only unattractive; it can also cause itchy irritation. Dry skin requires a more intensive skin care regimen that helps to hydrate cells and encourages better skin repair and regeneration. Dry skin also tends to be sensitive, so organic and natural products usually work best. Creating a homemade, natural facial mask and using it once a week can make a huge difference in providing needed moisture and vitamins to your dry skin.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 egg
  • Fork
  • Face cleanser for dry skin
  • Face toner for dry skin
  • Face moisturizer for dry skin
  1. Step 1

Break the egg and separate the yolk from the white. Discard the white and place the yolk in a small bowl.

  2. Step 2

Using the fork, lightly beat the yolk until it is smooth.

  3. Step 3

Apply the yolk evenly all over your face, avoiding the eye area. Leave the yolk mask on your skin for 20 minutes.

  4. Step 4

Wash the mask off with your usual facial soap. Apply toner to remove any remaining yolk from your pores.

  5. Step 5

Liberally moisturize your face to enhance the effects of the yolk mask.

Tips & Warnings
  • Use this mask once a week. Do not overuse the mask because your skin can build a tolerance to it, and the effects will be lessened.
  • Supplement your skin care regimen by drinking lots of water and eating a healthy diet. This will help promote youthful skin cell regeneration.
