Painting a Satellite Dish
No one wants to look at an ugly silver or dark satellite dish stuck to their house. Although you cannot put a dish completely out of site because of signal purposes, there is a way to make your satellite dish look less noticeable. The solution is to paint the dish to match its surroundings. Here’s how:

Mount the dish to your house in a spot that will be easy to hide and also get a good signal. Usually the side or back of the house is the best place to put a dish. Test the dish for a signal.

Find a paint that matches your house or the dish's surroundings. The idea is to blend the dish in with its background. Avoid glossy, shiny or metallic paints. Using these can mess up your dish's ability to work properly. The best kind of paint to use is an outdoor paint with a matte finish, similar paint for a car.

Tape off any area of the house with painters’ tape if you are worried about spillage. Use a drop cloth for the floor area if you will be painting on a deck.

Clean the dish with a rag and soapy water. Rinse it off but do not get anything on the receiver (part of the dish the sticks out to receive the signal, you won’t be painting this part either). Dry it off with a towel. Make sure you do not have any rusting areas on the dish if you do use a sealant over it before painting.

Open the paint, stir and begin painting with your brush. Be as artistic as you can. If your dish is hanging on a fence, try to make the fence design and the color as matching as you can to the fence that it is actually mounted to. If your home is brick, try to blend it by drawing the same brick pattern on the dish.

Tips & Warnings
Make sure paint is lead-free. Use a paint that will last outdoors or it may wash off and run in the elements.
Do not paint anything other than just the round dish or you may risk damaging your satellite service receiving capabilities.
