Things You'll Need:
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
-
Step 1
Open up the PowerPoint program on your computer. You can navigate to it by clicking the “start” button at the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Click on “all programs,” then to the Microsoft Office section and then finally click on Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007. This should take you to a blank template that you can work with. The slide shown should have two text boxes that will allow you to add the title and subtitle. Once you have done so you will need to create new slides to add to your presentation.
-
Step 2
Look at the top and to the left of the screen. You can add a new slide to your presentation in one of two ways. One way is to right click in the column to the left that contains all of your created slides, which at this point will only be your title slide. Once you right click it a pop-up menu will give you the option to create a new slide, when it does just go ahead and click on it and a new slide will pop up. The other way to create a slide is in the following step.
-
Step 3
Move your mouse over the icon that says “new slide” at the top of the page. At the top of the page there should be 6 boxes. The box that you are looking for is the second from the left and is titled “slides,” by clicking on the area that says “new slide” you will see a blank slide popup that you can now add and edit to your presentation.
-
Step 4
Type the title of the new slide in the text box at the top of the blank slide. You can also add several other things as well. In the text area below you can type in any other information that you want. There are also icons that you can click on within the text box for you to add any other graphics, tables, charts or multimedia to your slide.
-
Step 5
Save your presentation once you have added all of the slides that you want to for this presentation. Once saved open up the file and check it to see that you have properly saved all of the slides in your presentation.
