Instructions

    • 1

Cut out a pumpkin shape with the stem from a piece of cardboard. Cut 1 inch by 1 inch squares from the orange tissue paper. Cut a few squares of green and brown. Then cut some black ones. You can use yellow for the eyes, nose and mouth if you want it to look like it is lit up, instead of black.

    • 2

Draw where you want the eyes, nose and mouth on the cardboard. Draw on the leaves around the stem at the top.

    • 3

Put some glue on a small section of the cardboard starting at the top. If you try to do too large of an area, the glue will dry out before you get to it.

    • 4

Stick a pen cap in the center of a brown square. Pull the paper up around the cap and then remove the cap. Stick the point of the tissue paper on the stem of the pumpkin. Repeat until the entire stem is full. Then start on the leaves. Do the orange ones next and switch over when you get to the eyes, nose and mouth. Fill the entire pumpkin with paper.

    • 5

Glue a loop of ribbon onto the back of the pumpkin to hang it up.
