How to Delete Your Twitter Account

Twitter is a social website that allows users to communicate with one another through "tweets." Tweets are statuses that users post to their homepage for them and their followers to see. A tweet usually answers the question "What's Happening?" If you are not satisfied with Twitter or if you have other reasons for which you no longer want your Twitter account, you can delete it.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Twitter account.

2. Click on "Settings" at the top of your homepage.

3. Scroll down the page and click on "Delete My Account."

4. Press the "Okay, Fine, Delete My Account" button.

Tips & Warnings

• If you do not have a Twitter account, or if you would like to make a new Twitter account upon deleting it, visit the Twitter website and sign up.
