Unclogging a kitchen sink is easy when you follow these simple steps.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup bleach
  • Plunger
  1. Step 1

Remove as much water by hand as you can.

  2. Step 2

Pour bleach in the sink drain.

  3. Step 3

Run the dishwasher. The hot water from the dishwasher has to use the same pipes as the one in the sink. You cannot get the water as hot on your own without a lot of work.

  4. Step 4

    Have a plunger standing by.

  5. Step 5

Let the dishwasher run for about 5 minutes, then place the plunger over the sink drain and plunge. Repeat if necessary until sink is unclogged.
