How to Make a Thanksgiving Fruit Centerpiece
Thanksgiving is a time to be thankful for a bountiful harvest. Farmers markets are brimming with wonderful fall produce such as pears, apples, squash and corn. The luscious fall fruits are used in making this simple yet elegant Thanksgiving centerpiece. You can use any type of cake stands you have or even a simple serving platter with a beautiful glass dish in the center filled with fruits and greenery. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 2 or 3 cake stands--different sizes for stacking
- Fruit
- Greenery and/or fall leaves

Pick out various fall fruits such as pears, apples, pomegranates, grapes and anything else that you can find that is unique. Shopping farmers markets are a great place to find wonderful fall fruit. Wash and dry the fruit. If needed, polish with a soft cloth to give a beautiful shine.

Stack the cake stands with the largest on the bottom and the smallest on the top. You can use two or three, depending on the size of the cake stands and the height you want your centerpiece.

Arrange the fruit on top of the cake stands. Put largest fruits on the bottom and smallest fruits on the top. Continue layering the fruit until you like the look.

Add greenery around the edges of the cake stands, tucking it in underneath the fruit to hold it. Add fall leaves too, if you like.

Set the fruit centerpiece in the middle of your dinner table. Place more greenery around the bottom of the centerpiece if you desire.
