How to Win at Flash Element Tower Defense
Flash Element Tower Defense is a free flash game inspired by the Element Tower Defense map for Warcraft III. The goal is to set up a series of guns and canons to prevent a series of "creeps" from traversing a maze. Each level gets progressively harder, but there is a strategy to see you through. Here's how to beat all 39 levels of this game, while getting a respectable score.

Early Stages

Start by placing a cannon up against the inside wall of where the creeps exit, with half of the cannon sticking out below the corner. This weapon should be able to destroy the first wave by itself. Because you gain interest on the amount of gold you have, it pays not to buy weapons before you need them.

Before the second round, upgrade your first cannon and place one more cannon two steps from the first long stretch of wall on the top right portion of the screen and three steps down from the wall above it. These two weapons should take you through the next two rounds. You may lose one life on Round 3, but it should not be a problem.

For the fourth level, add an arrow gun right on the center of the map. Not only will this help you in this round, it can attack air and ground targets (you'll need this later).

Upgrade your arrow once and fully upgrade your first cannon for the fifth round. Upgrade your remaining Level 1 cannon for the sixth and seventh rounds.

For the eighth round, add an air gun directly below your arrow gun, so that half of one is overlapping the other. Fully upgrade your arrow gun and upgrade the air gun once. This should also take you through the ninth round.

Before the tenth round, use the wood that you gained after Round 7 to research fire. Build a fire gun directly above your arrow cannon. This will take you safely through Round 12. Fully upgrade your remaining cannon for Round 13.
Middle Rounds

Upgrade your fire gun for Rounds 14 through 16.

For Round 17, fully upgrade your air gun. Research water and build a water gun directly above the second cannon you built. Also, build another fire gun next to your original cannon.

Upgrade your fire gun one more time for Levels 19 to 20. Build a cannon in the bottom chasm and upgrade it once for Level 21.
Rockets for Victory

Before Level 22, research earth. Purchase a rocket gun and place it as close to the center of the screen as you can.

You will need to gauge your performance in each round to know if you need another rocket. One fully-upgraded rocket should take you through through the Level 33 boss. Be sure to research your interest rate after Rounds 28 and 35 to get more gold after each round.

Keep building and upgrading a nucleus of rockets around the center of the board when necessary. Be sure to build at least two of extra cannons after the Level 33 boss because the enemies become considerably challenging after that.

Towards the end of Level 39, begin selling off your weapons by clicking on them and pressing "S." This will give you more gold, running up your score before the game ends.

Tips & Warnings
One gun can slightly overlap another with careful use of your mouse. When placing the second gun, try moving your mouse as far away from the original gun as possible without moving your placement box.
