How to Find Quilt Exhibits
Like art exhibits, some quilt exhibits travel from one city and museum to another. Other exhibits are permanent. There are still other ways to enjoy the beauty of hand crafted or machine sewn quilts, either for display or to use during cold winter nights.

Check the local newspaper (usually Friday or weekend sections) for quilt exhibits in your area. Also check the Internet by doing a Google search for "quilt," "exhibit" and the name of your city or town.

2
If there isn't a separate exhibit near you, check collections at local museum, as some have permanent quilt exhibits. Go to the website for your local museum to see if their permanent holdings include quilts. One example is the San Jose Museum of Quilts and Textiles.
