How to Put eBooks on an iPod

Not only can you listen to music, look at pictures and watch movies on your iPod, you can also read ebooks. Stay current with your reading while on the go or add extra time in your schedule for your leisure reading by using ebooks. Follow the steps here to set up ebooks on your iPod.

Instructions

      Open an ebook on your computer, right-click on the text and click "Select All" from the menu that appears.

      Right-click click on the now highlighted text and select "Copy" from the menu.

      Open a text application such as Microsoft Word or Wordpad and paste the text into the white space. Save the text file.

      Connect your iPod to your computer, then go to iTunes and open the options menu or "Preferences." Select, as an option, “Enable FireWire disk use," and then close the menu.

      Go to iTunes and open the options menu. Select, as an option, “Enable FireWire disk use," and then close the menu. With the disk use enabled, copy the text files onto your iPod.

      Disconnect the iPod and then open the "Notes" program on your iPod to read the new ebook.
