Things You'll Need:
- 20 large plastic cups
- Ping pong ball
- Beer or other alcoholic beverage
- Long table
- Cup with water
-
Step 1
Place four cups in a line at the edge of the table. Place three cups in front of the line, then two cups in front of that line. Finally, place one cup in front of that line. This arrangement should resemble a full set of bowling pins. Repeat the same pattern on the other side of the table. The design of cups should be two triangles facing each other with their points towards the center.
-
Step 2
Fill each cup 1/4 of the way with beer. You may also use another alcoholic beverage such as a mixed drink or wine if you'd like, but beer pong is typically played with beer.
-
Step 3
Decide who goes first. The player who goes first stands behind his triangle of cups with the ping pong ball.
-
Step 4
Try to throw the ping pong ball into one of the cups on the opposite side of the table. If the ball goes in, a player on the opposite team must drink the beer in the cup and remove the cup from the playing space. The original player plays again. If the ball does not go in, it is the turn of a player on the opposite team.
-
Step 5
Drop the ball into the cup of water if it falls on the ground. This is not the most sanitary way to clean the ball, so you may want to have multiple clean ping pong balls if you are worried about germs.
-
Step 6
The team with remaining cups wins. The game is over when the winning team has thrown their ball into every cup on the opposing team's playing space.

on 9/15/2009 I don't know if I'd say people play drinking games "solely to get drunk" but I do like this subject. 5 Stars.
