Things You'll Need:
- Solar Backpack
-
Step 1
Start by taking you new solar backpack on a test drive. Sunny days work great, but hot is not required. Many are surprised that their backpack can still be charged in semi light exposure. Even if the bag does not become fully charged, most bags are backed up with backup batteries.
-
Step 2
Of course the more sun exposure the better. The only wrong way to use it is to keep it in the closet. Leave it on your back as you are going through your day or leave it out in the direct sun.
-
Step 3
While not mandatory, it is best to charge you solar pack fully before charging your first gadget. The charge time various, depending on the bag. The average time is four hours for the first charge. Most bags will come with a indicator inside the bag to indicate when a charge is available.
-
Step 4
After your solar bag is fully charged it is time to start charging your gadgets. No more worrying if your phone is going to go dead on the beach or on a hike.

on 11/4/2008 That's pretty wild. I like the idea, though of course, being me, I'd need my phone charged at midnight!
