Step 1
Look at your social calendar to determine an appropriate date for the brunch. Decide of the time. Select a time that will accommodate your guest. If your brunch is on a Sunday, make allowances for guests that attend services.

Check online for restaurants in your area that offer brunch. Contact restaurants to determine if they accommodate large groups, or if they have a banquet room.

Discuss the brunch menu with restaurant manager. Inform the manager of your budget, many restaurants will accommodate and work with you on menu items.

If the brunch terms are to your liking then make your reservation. Note you can always cancel or change the reservation.

Hire a professional Santa Claus or appoint a family or friend member to wear the costume.

Organize your guest list and then order your invitations. Send out your invitation the invitees should RSVP no later than three weeks prior to event.

Order your centerpieces, decoration and assign seating.

Contact the restaurant manager to confirm the guarantee of guests two weeks prior to the brunch.

Arrive an hour before guests to make sure the banquet room meets your requirements and to discuss any last minute details with the restaurant manager.

on 11/2/2008 This is such a great idea. I remember going to a brunch with an Easter bunny that someone in my family hosted when I was little and it was so much fun. I'm sure that kids would love a Santa Clause one even more.
