How to Upload a Picture to Your Yahoo Store

If you are an online merchant just getting started with a Yahoo store, you will need to know how to upload pictures to promote the products or services you offer. A few simple steps will get your images onto your online store.

Things You'll Need

• Image file saved as a .jpg or .gif

Instructions

1. Log in to your Yahoo merchant account. Click on "Store Editor." This link is located under the "Edit" heading.

2. Click the "Files" link among the two rows of links visible at the top of the window. If you see only one row, click the small arrow at the end of the row to show the second row.

3. Click the "Upload" link at the top of the page.

4. Click "browse" to locate the file you have saved on your computer. Enter the name you would like this file to have on your server. Click "Send" to upload it. Repeat for all pictures you with to upload.

5. Click "Publish all staged files." Your images upload to your Yahoo store.

Tips & Warnings

• You can now locate your image from the list of uploaded files stored in your Yahoo merchant account. Follow onscreen instructions to click on it and copy the URL in order to place the image on another page of your site so that it displays alongside your product or service.
