Things You'll Need:
- cherry, grape, or other "mini" tomatoes
- two plastic container lids, (preferably from a sour cream, ricotta cheese, or cottage cheese container)
- long-bladed, sharp knife
-
Step 1
Remove green leaves and/or any stems from tomatoes.
-
Step 2
Wash the tomatoes thoroughly, and then allow them to dry.
-
Step 3
Place one lid top-side down on a flat surface. Add as many tomatoes as you can to this lid. Note that the lips of the lid will keep the tomatoes from rolling off!
-
Step 4
Place second lid top-side up, so that the inside of the lid rests upon the tomatoes.
-
Step 5
At this point you should have several tomatoes secured between two plastic lids. Take a long-bladed knife and begin slicing between the two lids, through the tomatoes.
