Treat A Spider Bite
Treat A Spider Bite

How To Treat A Spider Bite from home;

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Band aides
  • Prid
  • bandages & tape possibly
  1. Step 1

    This is how I've treated my spider bites over the years and I am
    no Doctor and have no medical degrees;
    This is how I treat (mine) from home;
    if you are ever in doubt as to what to do, please do go see your doctor ok?

  2. Step 2

    Living out in the country you are more prone to get a spider
    bite than those that live in city, but it can happen no
    matter where you live, or where you work;

    The first signs of a spider bite ( on myself now) has always
    been a bad headache, low grade fever, and nauseous;

    Now the above mentioned symptoms can also relate to just about
    any ( virus ) too;

    You may also experience a ( itchy spot) somewhere on your body
    do check out this area it may seem like a regular bug bite
    upon first examination, keep an eye on this as in a day or
    two if its a spider bite its going to change in appearance
    you'll still have this bad headache and low grade fever, and the
    itching area will now be sore;
    If you have been biten by a spider again check the area in question
    a spider bite by the second or third day is now very visible
    to see the changes, a spider bite looks like an area that is
    ( dug out) or ( ate out) a jagged looking sore;

    If your spot looks like this, it will also be red around the
    wound meaning there is "heat" inside the infected area;

  3. Step 3

    This is where this little (miracle can) I call it comes in so handy;
    take a Q-tip and get a generous amount of Prid and apply to the wound;
    cover with a bandaid or larger bandage; Leave this on until you shower
    or bathe the next day.
    Take off the bandage and clean this area really well you are going
    to see a lot of "drainage" on the removed bandage but that's what you want. You want the prid to be drawing out the infection inside the wound.
    Again if you are in doubt or if you are very sick still from the bite
    please do go see your doctor don't mess around and wait;

    If I went to the doctor every time I had a little old bite or something I would've been broke years ago..(G)!
    You'll need to treat this infected area for several days once the
    wound is looking better all the infection has been drawn out via the
    amazing Prid.
    You'll start to see new skin growing and the redness around the bite
    should be gone now; Keep using the prid and your bandages until its
    almost healed up, let some air get to the wound each day, try to
    keep it as clean as possible and not get extra dirt or anything in it;

    You may even have dead black skin appear around the spider bite
    but the drawing salve of Prid will help to heal this and to make
    it all better;
    I've had a ton of spider bites over the years and even when I did
    in fact get bitten by a Brown Recluse spider ( this is the most poisonous one and you will have a lot of dead, black skin; I did
    go see my doctor on this bite it was a HUGE BITE AREA and I was just
    sick as a dog, I needed an antibiotic but he agreed with me to keep
    doing what I was doing by using the prid and it took over a month for
    my body to heal that wound but I had no scar after it healed up, and
    this was a huge gaping wound down by my ankle bone;
    I've never had any sort of scar from any of my spider bites, but
    my Father has this nasty one on his nose, about 40+ years ago
    he had a spider bite and no one knew about Prid back then and you can
    easily see the chewed up marks on his nose its that vivid still to
    this day, when you look at it you just kinda go EEWWW! What the heck
    is that on your nose?? LOL! A very very old spider bite that's what
    and thats how I know for sure what to look for on my own body in
    search of "well what the heck bite me now"??
    I love to use PRID on boils too, why is it we women get so many
    stupid boils on our body??

    I love Prid and it has so many useful things to use it on;

on 10/22/2008 Thank you! This really does work, for spider bites and its just comes in so handy to have around your house;
next time you are in your local pharmacy, if you don't see it outside in the area there ask them for it;
most of the time they keep in the back area where they all work for some reason?? It used to always be accessible in the outside pharmacy area! but its very very good to have on hand, thanks again!
