Things You'll Need:
- sneakers
- proper attire
- water bottle
- jogging buddies(optional)
-
Step 1
illustration of an improved blood vesselImproved blood flow.
Jogging, as well as other exercises improves blood flow. Blood Pressure increases temporarily, and during this time, circulation improves as well. Oxygen and Nutrients are carried throughout the body more efficiently because exercise increases the amount of capillary blood vessels. -
Step 2
where do you get your protein? An increased amount of certain beneficial proteins in the body.
A type of protein known as Vascular endothelial growth factor is activated when you start jogging. This protein allows for the increased capillary blood vessels. Jogging 5 days a week increases the amount of this protein in the blood, which in turn, continually improves circulation of blood through your muscles. -
Step 3
up those stairs with ease.Jog consistently for 3 weeks to reach peak performance.
At this point the protein concentration and increased capillary blood vessels will reach their maximum. The results you will feel are:
- Your muscles will feel good (warmed up, less pain/cramps)
- Improved physical endurance.
- Increased metabolic rate (means you will be burning more calories even when resting)
These benefits will last for several days. -
Step 4
make it a daily activity = persistencePersistence is key.
If no jogging has been done for 5 days, the increased metabolic rate will return to the original levels. Even if you've been doing it for several weeks and you missed a week! So try to jog at least every 2 days for the activity to be beneficial. Your persistence will pay off.
