Things You'll Need:
- Computer
- Internet access
- pen and paper.
- (a printer is helpful, but not needed)
-
Step 1
If you are thinking about buying gold their are a few steps you will need to follow to make sure you make the right choice.
-
Step 2
First, you need to check the to see what the karat of the coin is (18k, 22k, 24k, ect.). A 24k gold coin it the best because, it is 100% pure gold, where a 22k gold coin is only about 92% gold.
-
Step 3
Next, you need to check to see how many ounces the coin weighs.
A one ounce gold coin is better than a 1/10 ounce gold coin. -
Step 4
Next, you will want to check to see if the gold coin has been certified or not a certified gold coin is usally worth more than a non certified gold coin.
-
Step 5
Next, you will need to know that the rarity of the gold coin will greatly affect how much it is worth, a gold coin from the 1900's is tipically worth more than a newly minted gold coin.

on 10/2/2009 www.petitioncrown.com is a non commercial site specially focused to British Hammered and Milled coins.
70% of the viewers are Americans who have an interest in World Coins as I notice from the analytics.
Today the ANA is still exhibiting "Coins, Crown and Conflict" in the Edward C. Rochette Money Museum in Colorado. If you would like to see actual pieces and not photos.
My site is www.petitioncrown.com
An Exploration of Cromwell’s England explores the period from the reign of Charles I and the English Civil Wars to the first years of the restored British monarchy under Charles II, through the coins, medals, people and objects associated with Oliver Cromwell.
My primary interest is to encourage more collectors to join our hobby
