Having troubles keeping your utility bills low? This article will help cover some of the key items in lowering your utility bill.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    First thing to keeping the utility bill down is to have a programmable thermostat installed or utilized. Keeping your home temperarture at a consistent level helps lower the bill.

  2. Step 2

    Seal any cracks or failed insulation or weather stripping around the doors and windows. Use ceiling fans to regulate the temperature. Have only a couple primary lights that give enough light for you function properly.

  3. Step 3

    If you have an air conditioning system then periodically change the filters. unplug any unused electronics from the surge protects. participate in an energy plan with your local utility company. Change your lightbulbs to newer low energy bulbs or L.E.D.s
