How to get through those alone times while going through a divorce

Divorce can be a very lonely time but her are some points on handling those alone moments.

Things You'll Need:

  • open mind
  • planning
  • friends
  1. Step 1

    Find friends. Be a friend , stick with your friends. Pick up your phone and set a lunch date.

  2. Step 2

    Plan for your alone times.Look ahead to the dates kids may not be there and you will be by yourself. Do chores, house projects, church, grocery shopping. Keep moving.

  3. Step 3

    Start a journal.Write down all your blessings and answered prayers. Write down your deepest fears, hurts and look back at it on your good days.

  4. Step 4

    Get plugged into a Christian fellowship.Find a bible study, singles class. Spend time learning more about your relationship with the Lord.

  5. Step 5

    Get out of the house and try something new.JUST FOR YOU. Take an art class, cooking class, yoga, aerobics,running, walking. Go back to school, take on line courses.Do the things you have wanted to do but never had time to do. Find ways to enjoy life you deserve it.

  • these tips will work but it does take time to heal
  • Healing is a process but it has no time limit what may be 2 months for some may be 2 years for others. Don't rush the process
