Step 1
The best thing to do when writing your eulogy speech is to simply take a pen and paper and start writing. Just let the thoughts flow and do not worry about grammar, structure or anything else that would prevent the flow of words. If you are having troubles, look at old pictures to see what type of memories they bring to you.

If you want more ideas, speak with relatives. Often times, relatives will have some very fond memories that they would love to share. This sessions are often very therapeutic.

Another way to organize your thoughts or start writing down your thoughts for eulogies is to think about it in a methodical way. Look at these topics: Memories, humorous, heroic, words of wisdom, passions. Those are just a few to start. What comes to mind when you see those words? What stories would you want to share to help share your father's memory?
