make a unique Halloween costume FAST and EASY

Some people plan a Halloween costume for months in advance of the big night. The rest of us tend to forget until the last minute. Here's a quick and simple domino costume that is comfortable to wear and easy to make. YOU won't be the one saying, "Oh, I'm dressed as a grad student, can't you tell?" at the Halloween party this year.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Black shirt
  • Black pants
  • 1 sheet white tag board (poster board)
  • OR 5 sheets of computer paper
  • 1 large cup
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  1. Step 1

    Gather your supplies.

  2. Step 2

    Make a tag board belt.
    - Cut strips of tag board 3 inches wide and the length of the piece of tag board. One to two strips should be enough to go all the way around your waist.
    - If you don't have tag board you can use computer paper but you'll want to cut six inch wide strips and fold them in half to make your belt sturdy.

  3. Step 3

    Make your domino pips (spots)
    - Decide how many pips you'll need
    - Use the cup (or small plate) as a guide to trace out the circle on to your tag board.
    - Cut out the circles.

  4. Step 4

    Assemble your costume.
    - Put on your black clothing.
    - Use tape (duct tape works well) to affix your belt and pips to your shirt and pants.

  5. Step 5

Attend your Halloween party and WOW your friends with your insane creativity.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful with scissors around children.
  • Not a great costume to get wet.

on 10/24/2008 This looks like fun. I would have loved to have had something like this a couple of years ago when I needed a unique costume.
