    Its a proven fact that the food you eat effects every part of your system, including your skin. Find out what food helps clear acne!

  2. Step 2

    Low-fat dairy products usually contain a healthy amount of Vitamin A, which helps promote healthy clear skin. This is just the start of clearing your acne!

  3. Step 3

    Blackberries, Blueberries, Strawberries, Beans, and Pecans. These food are know from the high antioxidants! They will not only help keep your skin healthy, bu also your immune system in general. They also help to prevent certain types of cancer, which is much more important that preventing acne.

  4. Step 4

    Salmon, Walnuts, Canola Oil, Flax Seed, and Soy Milk. All of those products contain vital fatty acids. Omega 3 and Omega 6 are important in building healthy cell membranes, and the reduction of acne. Those healthy cell membranes keep the ba things out and the good things in, like water which will help your skin stay soft and hydrated, but not oily.

  5. Step 5

    Whole-wheat Foods, Turkey, Tuna, and Brazil Nuts. These are packed with selenium which is good for healthy skin. This will also help with fewer acne breakouts.

  6. Step 6

    Green Tea, not only tastes great with honey, but contains polyphenols which again strngthen cell membranes. Green Tea has also been linked to preventing cancer!

  7. Step 7

    WATER WATER WATER. I saved the best for last, drinking plenty of water alone will prove the most beneficial of all these foods. Drink the recommended amount of water for your body weight and you'll literally see your face smooth out in days.

  • Fighting acne is an on going battle, try not to slip back into your old habits once your start to see results or your acne will most likely resurface.
  • Beware of any allergies you may have, many people are allergic to nuts and certain berries.

on 10/20/2008 Good article. I've been pretty lucky in life to escape real bad acne. I did have a spell around 40 when my face broke out. Thanks for the tips.
