Avoid hair accessories in general, and in particular scrunchies. If you feel you need them, maybe it's time to consider a haircut. If you can't bear to part with them, there are a million other uses for them, just use your imaginagion.

   MULTIPLE EARRINGS make you look like a teenage rebel with no restraint or respect for your body. Interestingly, people who have ears like these generally choose nondescript, boring pieces of metal for earrings. What's the purpose?

   Do not accessorize your BUN or other updo with WRITING UTENSILS.

   NAIL ART makes people stare at your nails and wonder how much time it takes to maintain them. Better to keep your nails conservatively groomed.

   You may often see someone wearing a WINTER SCARF throughout the workday, over their regular work clothes. It may be a big, bulky winter knit. This is a security blanket that needs to go.

   TRAMP STAMPS are sometimes seen in the office. There's one secretary at my workplace that shows hers every time she files something in a bottom drawer. If you have one, make sure your clothing is adequate to cover it no matter how low you bend.

   Flimsy Sandals

   FLIMSY SANDALS that reveal your entire foot are inappropriate. Look down, and if your footwear resembles these, try to do better tomorrow.

   Offices are often crowded, unventilated places. Everyone smells everything. Remember that when you put on COLOGNE or any scented body product in the morning. Once I used on holiday marshmallow-scented lotion from Bath and Body Works. When I got to work, my coworkers rudely complained they smelled cigar, and they tried to figure out who was emitting the odor by method of elimination.

    Dog Lover Bag

    Tote bags look sloppy in a professional office environment. Invest in a stylish pocketbook that will carry everything you need. If you have to slug around a large quantity of stuff, consider getting a leather portfolio bag.
