  • clear silicone caulk
  • caulk gun applicator
  • monster cable speaker wire
  • soldering iron
  • speakers and specifications for those speakers
  • liquid nails
  1. Step 1

First you need to determine the dimensions of the enclosure for which the speakers need to be housed. Then you can purchase the material from the hardware store of your choice. The speaker manufacture usually has the specifications for your particular speaker.

  2. Step 2

By using the circular saw the shapes needed to construct the enlosure can be put together. Use the liquid nails between the connections to help create a strong bond which will direct the sound waves in the manor that best suits the listener. The installation of a port might be called for the sound to better propagate and resonant. Install the wires that will be required to work the speakers.

  3. Step 3

With the wires now installed and the enclosure sealed up tight, the speakers can be installed. Solder the wires to the speakers and lay down a bead of silicone before setting the speakers gentle into their respective openings. If you didn't get a set of screws with your speakers, perhaps another visit to the hardware store will enable you to complete the task. Upon the determination of which order bandpass your design is will determine the amps and capacitor derivatives.
