Find Cheap Airline Tickets
Find Cheap Airline Tickets

Cheap airline tickets ARE possible to find

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Try www.kayak.com It lists airline ticket prices and competitive site prices such as Priceline, Travelocity, Expedia, etc.

  2. Step 2

Sites such as Travelocity offer Web Fares. Click flights then web fares. The deals will have certain restrictions such as dates, but can be very helpful in finding a cheap flight.

  3. Step 3

Sign up for frequent flyer miles with each airline you fly with. I don't always fly with a certain carrier, so I have around 4 different cards.

  4. Step 4

Use sites such as eRewards.com and e-miles.com to answer surveys to earn frequent flyer miles. These sites are free to use.

  5. Step 5

Earn 150 American Airlines frequent flyer miles just by watching a short ad clip! https://www.aadvantagemilesforbose.com/index.jsp
    {Mileage offers for Bose® QuietComfort® headphones are valid from October 15, 2008, through October 31, 2008.}

  6. Step 6

    Frequent Flyer Graduation Bonus

United will help you celebrate your college graduation with 10,000 Mileage Plus bonus miles (see United College Plus rules for details). Just send the following to the address below, and your bonus will be posted to your account within 4-6 weeks of receipt:

A copy of your final transcript showing that you did indeed graduate as a full-time student from a U.S. college or university. Copy of official transcript must be received within 12 months of graduation.

Your United College Plus/Mileage Plus account number.**

    Your e-mail address.
    Mileage Plus, Inc.
    P.O. Box 40
    Rapid City, SD 57709
    Attn: College Plus Graduation

  7. Step 7

Visit yapta.com. After booking your airline ticket, log onto this site and put in your confirmation number from your airline. This site will track the price of your ticket and if the price drops, you will then be notified. If this is the case, then you can call the airline you booked through, and claim a refund. Yapta.com also provides a convenient service for $15 where they will contact your airline and get the refund for you.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be careful when you search dates and flights. Prices can shoot up over a period of a few minutes!
