Things You'll Need:
- Pressure cooker
- Toor Dal
- Sambar powder

Step 1
Wash Toor dal and add 4 cups of water and a pinch of turmeric powder.

Cook the dal in pressure cooker for 20 min (usually 4 whistles).

Mash the dal once cooker cools, add two cups of water and heat for 5 minutes.

Step 4
Add 3 spoons of rasam powder,1/2 spoon of tamarind paste,1 spoon of salt.Add 3 more cups of water.

Boil for 10 min and seasoning to it.rasam is ready now.
