It is the season for pumpkin, and what could be better than make some pumpkin spread for eating in the morning with your bagel, or spread on cracker for snack?

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Light cream cheese
  • Canned pumpkin
  • Light brown sugar
  • Maple Syrup
  • Cinnamon
  • Whole Wheat Bagel
  • Whole wheat crackers
  1. Step 1

    Combine 3/4 cup of light cream cheese, 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin, 1/3 cup of light brown sugar, and beat at medium speed until well blended!

  2. Step 2

    Fold in 1 tablespoon of maple syrup, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon until the cream smooth.

  3. Step 3

    Cover and put in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until chill enough to spread.

  4. Step 4

    Use this pumpkin cream cheese with whole wheat bagels in the morning, or with whole wheat crackers for snack!

    This is a fun activity to do with your children to celebrate autumn season, and there are very few ingredients to use in this recipe!
