How to make potato croquettes

This is a great recipe for left over mashed potatoes.

Things You'll Need

• mashed potatoes
• grated cheese
• parsley
• garlic powder
• bread crumbs
• 1 egg
• oil for frying

Instructions

1. 

   This recipe works best with left over mashed potatoes. But you can always make instant mashed potatoes and put in the freezer until they set up.

2. 

   Mix all of the ingredients with the potatoes and make balls and flatten down in a disk shape, Don't make them flat. Your potato mixture will be sticky and very moist.

3. 

   Coat a frying pan with oil and brown both side till golden let them set up for a few minutes before serving.

Tips & Warnings

• These ingredients are according to how much mashed potatoes you have just add according to taste

• I usually do 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1-2 tbsp of grated cheese, 1 tbsp of bread crumbs, 2 tsp of dried parsley flakes and always 1 egg unless you have a lot of mashed potatoes

• These are great when served with chicken marsala
