Things You'll Need:
- One wire hanger
- Crepe Paper- Green and white
- Aluminum foil
- A felt bow
-
Step 1
Take an old wire hanger from your closet and pull it as far as you can to create a circle. It doesn't have to be perfect but round enough that it forms a wide circle.
-
Step 2
Purchase crepe paper in green and white. Cut the paper into strips of approx. 4" x 3". Start with 40 strips and cut more if needed. Start at the top of the ("wreath")hanger. Take one strip of paper and wrap around the hanger, then twist it like you would a twisty tie for a loaf of bread. Twist it twice. Then flatten the two side of the paper. It should look like a little bow.
-
Step 3
Continue doing this for all of the strips of crepe paper. Alternate between white and green. Push the strips together so the wreath will look fluffy. Add a few strips of aluminum foil to add sparkle!
-
Step 4
Once you have finished, you will have created your wreath. Add the bow to the top where the hook of the hanger remains. Then turn the hook towards the middle to use as a hook to hang the wreath. You can also add other ornaments or decorations to the wreath as you like!
