Things You'll Need:
- A variety of leafs in various shapes and sizes
- Crayons
- Various papers (colored and plain)
-
Step 1
Choose leaves that are well defined. Generally the older and drier the leaf the less likely your rubbing will turn out. Green leaves tend to work best for this project.
-
Step 2
Place your chosen leaves under your paper and turning your crayon on the side gently rub over the leaf. Start at the top and work your way down the paper.
-
Step 3
When you are finished you can gently spray your rubbing with hair spray to "set" your picture. You now have a picture suitable for framing.

on 10/23/2008 Every fall my kids love to do this. They 'search' for the perfect leaf, mostly playing and getting dirty. We frame the art work and they love showing off their masterpeices.
