stop sweating the small stuff

Many people end relationships over ketchup bottles, gas money, and other insignificant matters. Many people make a big deal over small stuff. I once heard you can tell the size of a person by the size of the problems that get them down.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

People end friendships all the time over trivial things. Some people seem just cant function unless every thing under the sun bothers them. One of the main cause people sweat the small stuff is because deep inside the person is a control complex. A person that has to have control all the time will argue about what color socks a person wears.

  2. Step 2

Most people problems will equate to a grain of sand compared to all the sand on a beach. People let a single grain of stand stop them from enjoying all the pleasures and fun of a day at the beach. People are naturally drawn away from people that complain all the time. If you do this in your marriage I guarantee your spouse hides allot of thing from you. If fact your spouse probably even consults with a partner of the opposite sex as we speak. You show me a spouse that complains about everything I will show you an affair in the making.

  3. Step 3

In marriage and relationships you need to choose your battles wisely. If you learn how to deal with the small stuff, you will be better prepared to deal with the big stuff when it happens. If you get all blown out of proportion when your spouse forgets to put ketchup on your hot dog, what are you going to do, if your spouse forgets to the pay the rent? does it really seem strange if your sex life slows down, if when you fuss about every and anything all day long. Do you really expect your spouse to be even close to feeling intimate with you if their living with a professional winer?
