How to Make My Computer Start Faster

Have your computer starting faster with only a few adjustments!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • your computer
  1. Step 1

    Go to your control panel and open Performance Information and Tools. Then to Manage Start up programs.

  2. Step 2

    Then next step would be to go through all your start up programs and remove any that you do not need to start your computer.

  3. Step 3

    To remove them you need to click on the idem you want removed after that you should click on the remove or disable option you are given. The status should go from permitted to disabled.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure your computer is protected with a virus protector.
  • Leave on the programs you would like to have start when you turn the computer on. Do not remove unless you are sure you do not want the program on your computer.
