Delete Cookies on Your Computer Using Windows Vista

Cookies are small files saved on your computer when you visit some websites. This is then sent to your browser (such as Internet Explorer) along with the Web pages that you are viewing. Cookies can usually slow down your computer. Here's how to delete cookies on Windows Vista to have your computer running well again.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Close all your work and windows that are open. Click the Start Button- bottom left side of screen.

  2. Step 2

    Go to Control Panel. Click on Network and Internet.

  3. Step 3

    Then under Internet Options, Go to Delete browsing history and cookies. A window will pop up stating Internet Properties, look for browsing history, click on that.

    A window will pop up, stating Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, History, Form Data and Passwords. Go to Cookies and click delete cookies.
