Finding yourself stuck between a rock and a hard place? Relationships are tricky things. Sometimes we hurt the ones we love the most. Stop and think about the situation. What is the desired outcome?

Things You'll Need:

  • self
  • other person
  • pen or pencil
  • notepaper
  • brainstorming
  • an open mind
  • desired outcome from both parties involved
  1. Step 1

    First, positive thoughts are important. Goal, to work this situation through, without arguing in a rude manner. Make a rule no loud voices. Give each other a hand in making peace.

  2. Step 2

    Use your notebook paper for each of you to write down your desired outcome. Take a look at the desired outcome from each of you. How are they similar? How are they different? Is there any wiggle room? Make them more along the same wave length, if possible?

  3. Step 3

    Talk about why each of you wants it a certain way. Maybe you'll realize the importance of the other person's reasoning. Communication is key in relationships. If you can understand THE WHY, it should help you to come closer, to working through the situation.
